Emerge Yourself into God's Reviving Word

"Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you." Ephesians 5:14 (NASB 1995)

Since many have undertaken to translate and comment on an account of the things written for us in God’s Word, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were students and communicators of the Word, it seemed fitting to me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in an orderly sequence, most excellent reader; so that you may know the exact truth about the things you have been taught. Only this time, this work will be focusing on one thing – revival. From the time I published online the first book of the New Testament – the Gospel according to Matthew – people asked me: “What makes your translation different?” I hope you will discover it for yourself, but in a few words, this project can be called a devotional study Bible created to spiritually revive you and equip you with the convictions necessary to revive others. My working definition of revival is evangelizing believers. I know it sounds oxymoron because why would believers need the gospel other than to know what to share? And this is sad, truly sad. How can a Christian who moved on from the gospel someplace else live a life that Jesus gave? How can people share something they do not have themselves? Why would they do it if they do not want it, or if they want something else more than the gospel? I know you may have seen many similar projects and you see this one through the lenses of your impressions of them, but give this one a chance. You will not regret it. It is packed with insights that may change your life and the lives of people around you. If you long for revival, if you want to see your church alive, passionate, vibrant, and filled with the Holy Spirit, dive into God’s Word and this tool with help you in your dive. Let’s go.
